Rob Kardashian is once again retreating from public life after gaining a significant amount of weight, according to a new report.

TMZ is reporting that the "Rob and Chyna" star's famous family is worried that his life is now in danger.

He is "almost never walking out his front door," the report said, claiming that the reality TV star is weighing in at 300 pounds after gaining the 50 pounds he lost when he first began dating Blac Chyna.

The report says that Rob and Chyna have been living apart for nearly two months despite the fact that they're about to have a baby together. Earlier in the week, TMZ claimed that the two have actually broken up.

On Tuesday, People magazine quoted a source who admitted the duo are certainly not in a happy place, but stopped just short of claiming they had split.

"Rob and Chyna are not in a great place," the source said. "They are always up and down, but they went through a very rough patch as recently as last week. They weren't speaking, or even texting."

According to the source, "It doesn't bode well for their relationship, especially considering the baby is coming so soon. They're not broken up, but it's not a healthy relationship at all."

If you'll recall, Rob was incredibly reclusive for the better part of a year and a half before he began dating Chyna, who was credited (reluctantly) by his family for puling him out of his depression. She is now eight months pregnant.

A source told TMZ, "Rob is slipping back into a dark place" and that the family is praying that he "snaps out of it."

When it comes to Rob, there are bigger fears than just a breakup. The reality star was hospitalized late last year and was diagnosed as diabetic. Because of his weight gain, there is a fear that his weight gain could spin his diabetes out of control.

Rob, the website said, is even refusing to show up to promote "Rob & Chyna" these days and didn't go to a baby shower that was thrown specifically for him earlier in the week.
