Netflix is giving subscribers reasons to stay inside this August.

From the return of fan-favorite series to action-packed franchises, here is everything new you can watch on the streaming platform in the coming weeks.

8. Fast and Furious Movie Collection (August 16)

A significant portion of the Fast and Furious franchise lands on Netflix on August 16. Viewers will be able to watch The Fast and the Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast Five, Fast and Furious 6, Furious 7 and Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw. (You'll have to look elsewhere for the fourth installment, Fast & Furious, as well as the three most recent films in the franchise: The Fate of the Furious, F9 and Fast X.)

7. The Departed (August 1)

Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg star in the classic 2006 film The Departed. The movie follows a South Boston cop, Billy Costigan (DiCaprio), as he goes undercover to break into a mob boss' (Nicholson) inner circle. The flick nabbed four Oscars: best picture, best director for Martin Scorsese, best adapted screenplay and best editing.

6. Titans: The Rise of Hollywood (August 5)

Titans: The Rise of Hollywood is a six-part docudrama series that chronicles Tinseltown's early stages throughout the early 20th century.

5. The Truth About Jussie Smollett (August 22)

The Truth About Jussie Smollett is a 90-minute documentary that examines the alleged hate crime Jussie Smollett suffered in 2019. The special hosts interviews with the Empire star himself along with police, lawyers, journalists and investigators involved in the case.

4. Fit for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser (August 15)

The shocking behind-the-scenes tell-all Fit for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser, features former contestants and producers from the former NBC series The Biggest Loser as they reveal the damaging situations they were allegedly put through. Trainer Bob Harper and longtime host Alison Sweeney are interviewed for the documentary.

3. My Life with the Walter Boys Season 2 (August 28)

The hit teen drama series My Life with the Walter Boys is back for Season 2. Jackie returns to Colorado set on fixing her relationship with Alex and setting boundaries with Cole. Unfortunately, Alex is deep in rodeo ambitions.

2. Thursday Murder Club (August 28)

Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan star in the crime comedy Thursday Murder Club. The film follows a group of friends in a retirement home who set out to solve a crime.

1. Wednesday Season 2 (August 6)

Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones are back for the second season of Wednesday, which sees Wednesday Adams returning to Nevermore Academy, where she dives deeper into her family's legacy while dealing with the trials and tribulations of being a teenager.

Lionsgate and Suretone Pictures have unveiled the chilling first trailer for Do Not Enter, a thriller that plunges a group of urban explorers into a deadly hunt for hidden treasure inside a decaying, haunted hotel.

The film marks the feature debut of veteran music video director Marc Klasfeld and is penned by horror script writer Stephen Susco (The Grudge, Unfriended).

Produced by Suretone Entertainment's Jordan Schur, Do Not Enter promises a tense, genre-bending ride that fuses paranormal terror with gritty human conflict.

Set in an abandoned hotel rumored to house a long-lost gangster's fortune, the story follows a group of young thrill-seekers who stumble into danger from all sides, including a violent rival faction of explorers and a spectral force lurking in the shadows.

Klasfeld, whose visual style has defined videos for artists like Katy Perry and JAY-Z, called the film a deeply personal venture.

"I have waited decades to find the right feature film project to which I could truly dedicate myself," Klasfeld said in a statement. "The passion I have found to make Do Not Enter all it can be is extraordinary, and I honestly can't wait for the world to see what we have."

Combined with Klasfeld's dynamic visuals, the film is poised to attract horror fans and thrill-seekers alike.

Jordan Schur, the film's producer and founder of Suretone Pictures, has long worked at the intersection of music and film.

His previous credits include Lone Survivor and Warrior.

With Do Not Enter, Schur returns to the horror genre with a film that blends myth, greed and the supernatural.

The trailer teases unsettling images of decrepit hallways, flickering lights and frantic chases, hinting at the terror that lies within the hotel's crumbling walls.

The tone is grim and fast-paced, suggesting a modern horror experience that also pays homage to classic urban legend thrillers.

No release date has been announced, but Lionsgate is expected to distribute the film theatrically later this year.

Do Not Enter stars a young ensemble cast and introduces fresh faces in a perilous setting where not everyone will make it out alive.

As competition for the gangster's hidden treasure escalates, so too does the wrath of an entity that's been waiting far too long.

Megyn Kelly compared Kamala Harris to the Legally Blonde character Elle Woods during her interview with Stephen Colbert. While the film — which stars Reese Witherspoon — has a cult following, Kelly wasn't exactly complimenting the politician.

"This is what I find interesting about her," Kelly said. "It's how empty she is. The only time she really gets animated is when she talks about race, abortion, or herself. Truly, I'm a connoisseur now of this woman's commentary, and those are the three things that really light her up, and the giggling about when she gets to herself. 'I call them my baby nieces, like, that's something special about me. I have this term of endearment about my two nieces. You see, I put the word baby in front of them … That's what I do. That's my thing.'"

"And then she gets equally animated when she gets to her stupid AirPod choice … It's ridiculous," Kelly said, as Harris defended her use of wired headphones with Stephen Colbert. "She comes alive on the subject of 'Me.' Reminds me of this gal from Legally Blonde."

Kelly later showed a video of Woods yelling, "Me!" while in the halls of Harvard.

Harris went on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to discuss her new book, 107 Days, and her decision not to run for governor of California. Harris' book documents her transition from supporting Joe Biden's presidential campaign to then replacing the president after he dropped out. The former senator also explored how she views government differently after losing the election to Donald Trump.

Aside from Harris, Kelly has been critical of Colbert's response to CBS firing him and pulling the plug on The Late Show franchise.

"Many of us have had very public cancelations and some were absolutely brutal," she said after the news dropped. "And we didn't invite all our friends to come cry on the set and say, 'Poor poor her. Poor poor him. American democracy will not be the same.' Some of us took it like professionals, then picked ourselves up, dusted ourselves off, and moved on with life. Is this how it's going to be for the next year? Watching this crybaby try to play the victim that his show got cancelled? Grow up. It's called television, you toddler."

The ratings are in — and summer's most popular show of summer 2025 has been revealed.

According to Nielsen's streaming charts, Netflix's Squid Game Season 3 is the most-watched program of the past few months, with 60.1 million views in its first three days on the platform.

The final installment of the survival thriller drama has gained 134.7 million views thus far. The company's critically acclaimed series Adolescence garnered 142.6 million, while Stranger Things 4 stands at 140.7 million.

Peacock's Love Island USA also has a large reach, as it became the number two most-watched streaming program for the weeks of June 23 and June 30, with 1.78 billion and 1.7 billion viewing minutes.

Prime Video's The Summer I Turned Pretty is a hit, with five million viewers globally in its first week on the streaming service following the debut of its first two episodes on July 16. The coming-of-age story's third installment is outpacing the second season by 40 percent and tripling from its first within the same timeframe.

The other teen drama from the platform We Were Liars cracked Nielsen's top 10 streaming originals list for the first three weeks since it launched on June 18.

HBO Max's The Gilded Age expanded its viewership with Season 3, as episode six nabbed 4.5 million viewers across HBO Max in its first three days. The period piece is growing by 25 percent higher than its previous installment.

Netflix continues to score major wins with Eric Bana's Untamed also debuting the week of July 14 with 24.6 million views, which expanded to 26.1 million views in its second week.

The latest hit of the summer seems to be Netflix's The Hunting Wives. The eight-episode program raked in 5.2 million views on Netflix during its first week, becoming the number three most-watched series.

Bill Maher opened up about his biggest grievances with Donald Trump, as the comedian continues to dissect the president's second administration.

"Let's take stock of the first half of the first year of Trump's second term, and make some rational decisions about what to lose our s*** over," Maher said while discussing liberals' tendency to get distracted by the president's lesser offenses.

While Trump continues to make headlines, Maher noted that his antics are distracting from the "domestic army of masked troops" in ICE that are impacting urban communities.

"I'm not incensed. … I just don't have room," Maher said. "Right after he got elected in November, I said — here and everywhere else I could — he got the White House, but this time, he's not going to get my mind. There's only so many f*** to give."

"Steve Bannon famously said that the way you win is to flood the zone with s***. You want to help him with that? Great, you do you, but I'm not chasing every brain fart down the rabbit hole," he continued. "So therefore, here is my 1/8 of the term scorecard for what actually matters: Turning the Environmental Protection Agency into the pollution Protection Agency. Yes, that's going to matter. All the people who will lose health care and all the debt that will be run up from the Big, Beautiful Bill. Yes, that matters."

He went on to share a tip liberals, saying, "Life is complicated, and Democrats need to be less emotional and more focused."

"Get a life, stop making [Trump] your whole personality," Maher said of Democrats. "So, please, when I'm out there, no more, 'Bill, did you just see what he did today?' If you don't even have to say who 'he' is, you already lost, because 'he' is already living too rent-free in your head."

Seth McFarlane has joked about other adult cartoons over the years, but the Family Guy creator heaped praise on South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone in an interview that was released after they fearlessly mocked Donald Trump on the season 27 premiere.

"I would never trade our animation team for anything on Family Guy, but their production cycle of, what is it, like, two weeks? It's kind of amazing," McFarlane said on The Ringer's "The Town" podcast.

South Park is known for its fast turnaround and cultural commentary. Parker and Stone typically write and produce new episodes in just six day.

"It's pretty incredible. … Any show that lasts that long is pretty astounding," McFarlane said. "Our shows take about 10 months to a year to produce each episode, so we have to really kind of guess what the world is going to look like, which obviously gets harder and harder."

In the past, Parker and McFarlane have publicly slighted each other.

"I just want to say for the record right now, we've seen Family Guy. … We do hate it," Parker previously said, according to TheWrap. McFarlane later told Rolling Stone that he didn't know where the "venom" came from.

"It'd be interesting to know where it comes from because I don't know them," McFarlane once told Howard Stern.

While the animosity between the television creators seems to have cooled, the creators of South Park are now facing "venom" from the White House, which publicly criticized the show shortly after the new season debuted.

"The Left's hypocrisy truly has no end – for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as 'offense' content, but suddenly they are praising the show," White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said in a statement. "Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows."

"This show hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention," the statement continued. "President Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country's history – and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump's hot streak."

Sarah Jessica Parker bid an emotional farewell to Carrie Bradshaw.

Following showrunner Michael Patrick King's announcement that the S** and the City spinoff series And Just Like That… is coming to an end, the actress took to Instagram to share a heartfelt poem about playing the iconic character since 1998.

"She has made the hardest, worst and best decisions. Traveled near and far for the new, the vintage, friends and love. Changed homes, time zones, boyfriends, her mind, her shoes, her hair, but never her love and devotion to New York City," Parker wrote of her alter-ego while captioning a slew of images from both the original show and the reboot.

"Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, there will never be better friends," the 60-year-old remarked of the characters portrayed by Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis. "What great fortune for Carrie to come to know and love Seema (Sarita Choudhury) and LTW (Nicole Ari Parker), most divine new connections."

"And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the S** and the City universe is coming to an end," the executive producer wrote. "While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… Season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from ten episodes to 12. It's with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years."

The last two episodes will launch on HBO Max at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT on August 7 and August 14.

Megyn Kelly has tapped Donald Trump's former White House communications director Hope Hicks to serve as the Chief Operating Officer at her independent media company, Devil May Care Media.

"Hope Hicks is exactly the kind of woman I want running my company with me — strong, smart, strategic and the embodiment of class and poise," Kelly told the New York Post.

"She's at the top of a growing media conglomerate and there's no limit to where she can take it; my best-in-the-business staff and I are thrilled to have her on board," she added.

After Kelly left her television career, she found success with her podcast "The Megyn Kelly Show," but the commentator is now expanding her business to include a roster of talent. While Kelly hosts "The Megyn Kelly Show" and "AM Update with Megyn Kelly," her media empire will continue to grow.

Before Kelly hired her, Hicks had been running her own media consulting firm after leaving the first Trump administration. She served as the press secretary for the president's 2016 presidential campaign and was a communications director for Trump from 2017 to 2018.

"I am incredibly humbled and thrilled to be joining Megyn and her team in continuing to build what is undoubtedly a flourishing business," she said.
