At the end of the day, Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer just didn't get along. That was essentially why the duo pulled the plug on their marriage just 20 months after saying, "I do."

Dakota formally filed for divorce last month in Texas, but he did so only using their initials.
"The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between D.L.M. and B.S.M.M. that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation," he said in the divorce documents, which were obtained by The Blast.
He also listed the couple's children, Sailor Grace, 2, and Atlee Bay, 9 months, are listed by their initials (she has a 9-year-old son, Tripp, with ex Levi Johnston, as well.)
In the divorce documents, Dakota says he and his ex have no support or custody agreement in place, but they are working on an agreement. As a show of good faith, he says he allowed Bristol to go to Alaska with their kids from February 13-18. Once she returns to Texas, where she now lives, the former couple plans to discuss a "temporary possession schedule" for the kids, he says.

On Feb. 13, the news was first reported that Bristol, 27, and Dakota, 29, had split up and were living apart. On social media neither had been seen wearing their rings of late, and People magazine reported that Dakota actually blocked Bristol on Instagram.
Neither Bristol nor Dakota have commented publicly on the split.
