During a 1980 ski vacation in Klosters, Switzerland, King Charles III tried to
disguise himself from photographers by wearing a fake nose, a fake mustache and large round glasses.

While King Charles III might have thought he was being quite clever, the paparazzi turned the tables on him. Photographers showed up to capture his movements while wearing their own fake noses. Being a good sport, Charles posed for
photos with the cameramen as they all shared a laugh.

King Charles III is known for his great sense of humor, according to his former butler
Grant Harrold. "We used to laugh every week, there'd be something, something would happen," Harrold recently told
Marie Claire. "We loved it. And that's what I really liked about it. It was a real fun environment."

During a visit to greet veterans, King Charles III cracked a joke about his age. While speaking with a serviceman who had metal plates inserted in his arm after he broke his wrist and elbow when he fell off a bike, His Majesty — who is battling cancer —
told him, "I've got endless plates and screws in my arm as well. All that's left of you when you drop dead is 'Made in Switzerland.'"
