Meghan Markle has been focused on expanding her lifestyle brand, As Ever, in California, while
Prince Harry continues to fight for security to bring their two kids,
Prince Archie and
Princess Lilibet, to the U.K.
"They appear to have deeply divided priorities and needs at the moment,"
Richard Fitzwilliams told
The Mirror. "Harry clearly wants to do more in the U.K., and rebuild a relationship with his father, while Meghan is focused on her business."

"I can't see how Harry would fit into the As Ever lifestyle and cookery world, and Meghan has no affection for Britain, so there's a clear difference there. Harry needs something more substantial in his activities than looking on and waving from behind Meghan," Richard Fitzwilliams continued.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first moved to California, the couple prioritized joint ventures. But the Sussexes are now focused on cultivating personal brands. Amid juggling business ventures and charity work, Meghan and Harry's relationship remains strong.
"They still seem emotionally committed to each other, but the outside noise and goings-on around them as a couple is deafening at times," Richard Fitzwilliams said.

Due to their professional separation,
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were accused of splitting up, but the duke immediately shut down the claims.
"Harry is used to the rumors that come out when he and Meghan do anything alone, but it does make him angry," Richard Fitzwilliams said. "He has directly addressed the 'split fear' rumors over the years, so they're nothing new to him."
