The Beatles
For many, The Beatles deserve the No. 1 spot on a "best pop bands" list. The 2019 film Yesterday showed us what a world without songs like "Hey Jude" and "Let It Be" would look like — and let's just say we're glad it was fictional.

Fleetwood Mac
Fleetwood Mac gave us such a wide array of hit songs — from "The Chain" to "Go Your Own Way." To this day, Stevie Nicks is iconic.
Coldplay
Coldplay was a huge band in the early 2000s — and they're a huge band in the 2020s. That kind of staying power is something special. Led by Chris Martin, they've given us hits like "Fix You" and "Viva La Vida."
