According to a source,
Prince Harry isn't happy that anyone thinks he and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor — who was arrested for allegedly giving
Jeffrey Epstein confidential information while he serving as the U.K.'s trade envoy — are anything alike. "He was frustrated by the comparisons. It was never fair to lump them together," an insider told
People. "Harry served his country, did the job well and never engaged in misconduct — yet lost security and housing, while Andrew was protected for years."

While
Prince Harry left The Firm in 2020, he reportedly feels Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has seriously harmed the monarchy. "In this moment, it's sad and embarrassing for the entire family," the source said. "It leaves a stain on everybody."

After Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was briefly taken into custody by authorities,
Prince Harry reportedly supports a thorough investigation. "Harry believes in justice and accountability — that's very much in line with his character," the source said.

In
Prince Harry's 2023 memoir
Spare, he claimed The Firm protected Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor while taking away his and
Meghan Markle's government-funded protection. "He [Andrew] was embroiled in a shameful scandal, accused of the assault of a young woman and no one had so much as suggested that he lose his security," the Duke of Sussex wrote. "Whatever grievances people had against us, s** crimes weren't on the list."

Following Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's arrest,
King Charles III spoke out about the situation. "I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office," King Charles III said in a statement via
People. "What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation. Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all."
