After it was reported that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor sees Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie as his final links to The Firm, royal journalist
Jasmine Carey claimed this belief could put his relationship with his children in jeopardy. "It could be very damaging if this is the case," she wrote for
Daily Express. "If he uses his daughters as a listening ear for his own selfish purposes when it comes to royal events and what the family is saying, or not saying, about him, they may no longer want anything to do with him at all."

If Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is wise, he'll leave Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie out of his estranged dynamic with the royals. "They are his daughters — not his personal spies. And they didn't ask to be put in this situation," Jasmine Carey wrote. "Who wants to be used in a piggy-in-the-middle style situation between a parent and the rest of the family, let alone between Andrew and the royals?"

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie showed how vital their ties to the monarchy are by deciding to spend Christmas with
King Charles III at Sandringham rather than with their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and
Sarah Ferguson. "They live and die by the monarchy, so this didn't surprise me at all. Andrew and Sarah would have 1,000 percent supported it," a source told
People.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his titles and evicted from Royal Lodge due to his connection to
Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of misconduct against him. "He's coming to terms with the fact he's lost everything that mattered to him: his status, his position in the Royal family and military, and, to a lesser extent, a fractured family," a source told
The Telegraph.
