Attorney Dean Strang revealed that Prince Harry and his A-list co-plaintiffs are most likely spending millions on legal fees."London leads the world in lawyers' fees. I mean, to pay £2000 [about $2800] an hour in London is not unusual," Strang said on the "I Rest My Case" podcast. "For good solicitors, good barristers — incredible, but not unusual. So very often in these cases, the lawyers will take the case on a no-win, no-fee basis."

"In other words, we won't get paid unless we win. But if we win — oh my God — will we whack it to the other side, who are going to have to pay the bill? So you get an absurd situation whereby, for example, in one of Harry's wins," Dean Strang continued. "The judge awarded him the princely sum of £145,000 [around $200,000] in damages after a trial lasting several months before Mr Justice Fancourt in the High Court."_
In a previous lawsuit, a judge ruled in Prince Harry's favor after he accused Mirror Group Newspapers of "unlawful information gathering." However, Dean Strang speculated that the duke most likely spent more money fighting the media company than he received."At least the speculation is that the legal fees and costs awarded went into the eight figures," Strang said.

In the witness box, Prince Harry reportedly became emotional as he accused the Daily Mail of harming Meghan Markle and her well-being."It is a horrible experience, and the worst of it is that by sitting up here and taking a stand against them … they continue to come after me," the Duke of Sussex said while holding back tears. "They have made my wife's life an absolute misery."

Prince Harry said the legal fight felt like "a repeat of a past, a recurring traumatic experience.""Having to sit here and go through this all again and have them claim I don't have any right to any privacy is disgusting," he told the court.
