In an interview, Prince William discussed a moment when Queen Elizabeth II reprimanded him while playing with his cousins Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips."We were chasing Zara around, who was on a go-kart, and Peter and I managed to herd Zara into a lamppost," William said in a Sky News documentary.

"The lamppost came down and nearly squashed her, and I remember my grandmother being the first person out at Balmoral running across the lawn in her kilt," Prince William continued. "[She] came charging over and gave us the most almighty b******ing, and that sort of stuck in my mind from that moment on."_
In Prince William's appearance on The Reluctant Traveler, he opened up about royal life after losing Queen Elizabeth II."She loved it here; she spent most of her time here [Windsor Castle]," he told Eugene Levy. "Showing you around today is very much a case of trying to make sure I'm doing it in the way she'd want you to see it."

Later in the episode, Eugene Levy asked Prince William if he missed Queen Elizabeth II."I do actually, yeah," the Prince of Wales replied. "I do miss my grandmother and my grandfather. It's been quite a bit of change, so you do sort of think about them not being here anymore, and particularly being in Windsor, for me Windsor is her."
