Caitlyn Jenner has already lost the political support of her family… on both sides.
Last week, the former "I Am Cait" star announced that she's running for governor of California in the state's upcoming "recall" election. TMZ reports that Caitlyn's sons — Brody Jenner, Brandon Jenner and Burt Jenner — don't want her to run and say they're "embarrassed" by the gubernatorial bid.
The website notes that the three men think Caitlyn is nowhere near qualified to lead the state, and they tried to get her to back out.
Caitlyn, 71, supposedly gave her sons 24 hours notice before her official announcement to the public, which upset them. The three men feel that Caitlyn, who's a Republican, "never took the family's feelings into consideration," TMZ reported, citing a source with direct knowledge. "By the time she called them, she had already made her decision."
Caitlyn's political aspirations aren't exactly supported by the Kardashians either. Reports over the weekend claim that Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner have no plans to stump for their father. The Kardashian girls won't be endorsing the former Olympian either, and there are reports that Kim Kardashian is already at odds with Caitlyn over her stance on prison reform.
Kim has been a staunch advocate for prison reform over the years, and she even worked with former President Trump to release several inmates who had lengthy drug-related offenses.
