Ciara's fears are less cold blooded today.
On Aug. 19, the "1, 2 Step" singer shared an Instagram video in which she held a golden Burmese Python by both hands as it rested on her neck.
"Overcame another one of my fears… and let's just say… That went fast," she captioned a video.
In the snippet, Ciara said had "queen mamba mentality" and was even "feeling it" as she held the snake.
The pop star's festive mood changed as she attempted to dance with the snake, just as Britney Spears did during her legendary performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U" at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. Just as a smiling Ciara began dancing, the snake turned its head and started inching toward her. As Ciara suddenly became statuesque, the serpent touched her face.
"I'm shaking in my boots," she said, as her pal La La Anthony laughed behind the camera.
As soon as a handler took the reptile from Ciara, she jumped on a chair to celebrate.
Ciara didn't indicate where she danced with the python, but she tagged Kobe Bryant's widow, Vanessa Bryant, in the caption. Vanessa was just recently in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with Ciara and La La. In fact, on Aug. 17, Vanessa posted an Instagram pic with a python wrapped around her. It appeared to be the same snake that Ciara used to conquer her fear.
"Mama doing Queen Mamba things..," Vanessa wrote.
