Andrew Lownie, who wrote
Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, told
Daily Express that Sarah Ferguson "regularly used [Jeffrey] Epstein's flats as free accommodation while in New York on business or pleasure."

Sarah Ferguson reportedly stayed "twice a month" in apartments at 301 East 66th St. that were owned by Jeffrey Epstein's brother, Mark Epstein, and given to the financier to use for free. The building is located near the late predator's sprawling seven-story New York City mansion, which he sold in 2011.

Numerous witnesses saw Sarah Ferguson entering and exiting the building over the years. "She was seen by a local resident Claudine Prabst, who got chatting to doormen whilst out dog walking after she had seen Fergie emerge from the building one day. [Jeffrey] Epstein housed various women in the block," Andrew Lownie claimed.

Jeffrey Epstein allegedly made the doormen treat Sarah Ferguson like royalty while she was in town. "The doorman actually said that when she was staying there — and it was frequently — they would have to put on their full dress uniform," Andrew Lownie said, adding that the native New Yorker "really put the boat out" for the mother of two.

Sarah Ferguson and her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, were stripped of their titles and evicted from Royal Lodge over their Jeffrey Epstein ties. In an unearthed 2011 email, the former Duchess of York called the controversial figure a "supreme friend to me and my family."
