For five seasons, Joseph R. Gannascoli played mobster Vito Spatafore on "The Sopranos." Now, though, you may be seeing him not on screen, but in the kitchen at your favorite restaurant.

While Joseph still acts, his main income now comes from being an in-demand Italian chef. The on-screen murderer is now killing spaghetti carbonara, much to the delight of foodies in the New York City area.
Page Six said Joseph is a guest chef at multiple Italian restaurants, and he even cut his teeth working at restaurants in New York, Los Angeles and at the legendary Commander's Palace in New Orleans (that's the equivalent of street cred in the culinary world).
"I was a chef before an actor," he told Page Six.
His guest chef appearances are quite popular, too.
"Every one I've done so far sold out, with more restaurants asking me if I can come there," he said. Earlier this week, he was seen cooking spaghetti carbonara table side in a Parmesan wheel.
Tony Sopranos' former henchman is also set to launch his own food line.
These days, Joseph is only bringing death to bad Italian food.
