Ice-T's wife, Coco Austin, isn't letting criticism about her parenting sink in.
Last week, the "Ice Loves Coco" star was mom-shamed by many of her Instagram followers after bathing her 6-year-old daughter, Chanel, in the kitchen sink. At the time, she explained that a sink bath was "easiest when you have to be fast."
Soon after, the Internet responded and argued that Chanel was too old to be in a soaking in the sink. The parent police said Chanel was certainly able to bathe herself. One person felt that Coco treats the tot like "an infant."
On Sunday, Sept. 25, the former Playboy model had heard enough, defending herself and her parenting.
"Wow just Wow! Here we go again!" Coco wrote on Twitter. "Giving my lil girl a bath in the sink went Viral? SMH! People, you gotta know by now that I'm an unconventional mother."
Digging her heels in further, she even argued that parents could even look to her for tips.
"I do what works and is easier on me," she said. "Some may want to take some pointers rather than rag on me!"
Following the defense, Coco's Twitter followers largely applauded her, as some joked that haters were more jealous of the deep sink and lavish home decor that anything else.
Coco has been judged by the social media world for her parenting several times before, but she always brushes off the criticism. Last year, the online parent police ripped her after revealing that she still breastfed Chanel. Many of those same "experts" slammed Coco again this past May after she posted vacation photos of Chanel in a stroller.
