It's time to be social again!
For the first time in eight months, Ivanka Trump has posted to Instagram, sharing photos of herself taking part in a food drive in upstate New York.
"Thank you to our many incredible partners and volunteers who helped feed tens of thousands American families across Idaho and NY, with fresh, nutritious, locally-sourced produce and dairy this holiday season," she captioned a series of images posted on Jan. 18 but snapped last week.
The initiative is part of the Farmers-to-Families Food Box Program, which began in May 2020 and was designed to deliver fresh produce to families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Photos show Donald Trump's older of two daughters holding boxes, talking to other volunteers and carrying apples. In one snap, she stands next to a kid holding a sign reading "free food boxes."
Ivanka also shared the images on her Instagram Story.
Reports said the former POTUS's daughter teamed up with billionaire Chobani founder Hamdi Ulukaya to deliver produce to families in need last week in the area of Rochester, New York.
Naturally, Ivanka dressed warm and cute for the occasion: She donned a gray coat over a cream-colored turtleneck and jeans. She perfected the outfit with mustard-colored gloves and brown lace-up boots. One picture of Ivanka in a black coat was said to have been taken in Idaho during a recent food drive there.
In her post, Ivanka 40, claimed that 1.1 million pounds of locally sourced dairy and produce were delivered, 1.3 million meals were served and 52,000 food boxes were distributed. She was quick to note that the venture is "100% privately funded."
According to the United States Department of Agriculture's website, "USDA contractors have delivered 173,699,775 boxes of fresh produce, milk, dairy and cooked meats to disadvantaged Americans across the country."
Prior to her Tuesday, Jan. 18, post, Ivanka last connected with her 7.4 million followers in May 2021 when she implored her fans to get vaccinated against COVID-19. In fact, her last two images prior to Tuesday showed her getting the jab.
