Jason Kennedy's days at E! are over.
The television personality announced that he has parted ways with the network — where he's worked for nearly 16 years.

On March 1, Jason posted a collage of images from his time at E! to Instagram.
"I don't think it's possible to sum up 16 amazing years. I've had the time of my life at E!. Most recently, I loved being the host of 'In the Room,' but COVID restrictions made it impossible to capture interviews with celebrities in a more personal setting, so I've decided to explore new opportunities," he captioned the post. "I'm leaving with a grateful and full heart thinking about my experience, and the lifelong friendships I've made along the way. I have a slate of exciting projects that I've been working really hard on and I can't wait to share more with you soon. Thank you for all your support over the years, love you guys!"
Jason and E! launched "In The Room" last summer to tremendous fanfare, but ratings somewhat lagged and the entire staff of the show was let go. During his time at E!, Jason was a weekend anchor and a reporter. He then worked alongside Giuliana Rancic as the co-host of E! News, the flagship show that was canceled over the summer. He also often worked alongside Giuliana at several award shows.
Following his social media announcement, several of Jason's E! co-workers showered him with support in the comments section.
