King Charles III and Buckingham Palace are shocked by
Prince Harry's latest bombshell accusation. After the Duke of Sussex subtly claimed royal staffers
leaked information about his reunion with his father to the public,
a source close to the firm made it clear there's no truth to the allegation.

According to
the insider, King Charles III and Buckingham Palace are "bemused, perplexed and saddened" by the statement from
Prince Harry's representative. "The reality is that senior aides have been working behind the scenes to improve what is a delicate but important private family relationship," the source said.

Following reports that the afternoon tea between
Prince Harry and King Charles III was "awkward" and more like an "official visit" than a meeting between father and son, the
Spare author's spokesperson released a statement shutting down the rumors. "Recent reporting of the duke's view of the tone of the meeting is categorically false," the representative
said. "The quotes attributed to him are pure invention fed, one can only assume, by sources intent on sabotaging any reconciliation between father and son."

Prince Harry alleged that the Duke of Sussex believes people who are working for King Charles III are trying to keep them apart. "The relationship between the duke and His Majesty the king is a matter for the two of them and the two of them only," the source said. "The men in gray suits should stay out of it."

Prince Harry hinted at being a target for staffers within the firm. After the 41-year-old and his wife,
Meghan Markle, retired from their royal duties in 2020, Harry claimed there were specific people who made the transition difficult. "I'd spent my life dealing with courtiers, scores of them," Harry wrote. "But now I dealt mostly with just three, all middle-aged white men who'd managed to consolidate power through a series of bold Machiavellian maneuvers."
