"Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason, are facing a wave of online backlash after posing with a tactical rifle just hours after the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

In the image, the controversial reality TV star appears to taking part in target practice.
"My babes a bad a– babe! Happy Valentine's day! #targetpractice #valentinesday #safetyfirst," David captioned the Instagram pic. Jenelle retweeted the photo.
Quickly, Instagram followers slammed the duo, considering the Florida incident was so fresh on the mind's of the country.
"You think you two would have a bit more respect for those who just lost loved ones to gun violence, especially with you both being in the public eye. Disrespectful. It's not like you didn't hear about it," one follower commented.
Another called the couple "absolutely disgusting."

Jenelle took to Twitter to say that posting the photo was simply "bad timing." That set off a new string of backlash.
"An apology to follow would be good," one person replied. Other said said they were "sick."
While the photo remains on David's Instagram, he turned off the comments. However, he did attempt to defend himself. "What do you think I sit around all day watching TV to check the news before I post a picture… umm no b—-."
