On Nov. 24, Kanye decided to gift Chris with a $120,000 off-road truck — sometimes referred to as a Yeezy Truck — to commemorate his two-decade career. Kanye was not physically there at the surprise exchange.
According to TMZ, Kanye sent his manager to Chris' Los Angeles-area house. Along with the vehicle was a hand-written letter from Kanye.
"Congratulations to Chris brown, 20 years in the game you have overcome many hurdles and obstacles, you deserve the recognition for all the hard work you have put in," the note read.
The R&B singer posed on the vehicle for an Instagram picture.
"THANK YOU KANYE," he captioned the photo from his driveway.
The vehicle is actually not a truck, per se, but rather a Sherp ATV. Business Insider said Kanye has "a fleet" of them at his Wyoming ranch. The ATVs can maneuver all terrain, as they can climb over three-foot-tall obstacles, handle mountainous terrain, drive for 115 hours without refueling and even glide across open water.
Kanye was seen driving the vehicle earlier this year while handing out Yeezy sneakers in Chicago.
According to the company's website, Sherps are built for "extreme operational conditions" and are used by geologists, oil workers, rescue personnel, and hunters… and now R&B stars.
