Kanye West took it back seven years to honor his wife today on her 40th birthday.

On Oct. 21, the rapper posted a photo from his engagement to Kim Kardashian West from 2013.
"Been doing empty stadiums. Happy 40th birthday!!!," he tweeted alongside the picture. "I love you so much."
"I love you so much," she replied.
Back in 2013, Kanye rented out AT&T Park in San Francisco to pop the question in front of the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star's friends and family on her 33rd birthday, a proposal that was shown on the family's soon-to-be ending reality TV show. While the words "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" appeared on the stadium's Jumbotron, the Chicago Symphony performed.
A the time, the couple had only recently welcomed their daughter North. They've since welcomed three other children to their fold.

Kanye's birthday tribute is one of many that Kim got on Wednesday — other's came from family members and friends like Victoria Beckham and Nicky Minaj. Even Sacha Baron Cohen gave a shoutout while in his full Borat character. The best gift Kim got, she said, was farther reaching.
"The best birthday present!! Today, the United States Library of Congress announced it will now use the subject heading…Armenian Genocide," she tweeted. "This landmark news was announced nearly one year after recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the U.S. Congress and in the setting of the recent devastating attacks on Armenians in Artsakh."
