Kate Beckinsale is shutting down plastic surgery speculation.
While chatting with The Sunday Times, the actress said she gets legitimately angry when people assume she's gone under the knife.
"I haven't had any [work done]," she said. "I'm not against people having it. [But] I do get pi**ed off. It's sort of a given that I've had it, which I just literally haven't."
For Kate, part of her reasoning for avoiding facial alterations was handed down from her mother. Kate's mom, Judy Leo, was so "suspicious" of cosmetic treatments she "wouldn't even get a facial."
"I'm frightened of paralyzing my face. My mum's voice is in my head, very loud, at all times," the "Underworld" star, 47, said. "I know if I did do Botox, I'd be the one that would get the droopy eye and my mum would go, 'I [expletive] told you! See? You should never do that.'"
Still, Kate acknowledges that aging in the public eye — and in the online world— can be challenging, particularly because of changing beauty standards.
"I think, when you start out, people perceive you as attractive it's helpful at first. If people start thinking that's your main thing, I don't think that's helpful to anyone, least of all you," she said. "I think women are damned anyway. You're seen as too young, you're too old."
The hard part, she says, is finding the "sweet spot."
"At some point you just have to go… this is me," she said.
Kate has been turning heads for decades, and she's not afraid to flaunt her body.
Over the weekend the mother of one garnered praise from her Instagram followers after sharing a snap from the beach in Turks & Caicos. Two dogs were also in the shot.
"Don't mind us," the bikini-clad Kate captioned the photo.
