Decade of marriage

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley celebrate 10-year wedding anniversary: See her photo tribute

It's been a decade of marriage for Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley!

The actress marked her and the musician's 10-year wedding anniversary with a playful — and partially nude — then-and-now photo post on Dec. 24 in which she also got serious about her man, their ups and downs and what he means to her.

"So when @joshbkelley and I had been dating a few months or so we took the first totally random #royaltenenbaums esq photo. Last night 12 years later we took a second one to commemorate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Yup, 10 years people!" she wrote in a lengthy Instagram caption accompanying a split image showing her and Josh, 37, in a state of undress (though accessorized like characters from the 2001 Wes Anderson film "The Royal Tenenbaums" starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Stiller and Luke Wilson) in 2005 and in 2017.

So when @joshbkelley and I had been dating a few months or so we took the first totally random #royaltenenbaums esq photo. Last night 12 years later we took a second one to commemorate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Yup, 10 years people! A few things have changed since then. I quit smoking, thank God! I've put on a few pounds. I don't often do spontaneously weird things like take random bathtub photos in the middle of the night anymore. But what hasn't changed, is that burning desire in me to be with this man. I gotta be honest. There have been moments where I didn't think we'd make it. Where I wanted to take my pillow and smother him in the middle of the night. But I'll tell you what. The more time I spend with this guy the more deeply I begin to understand that he is the best of me. When the whole world falls into disarray and nothing makes sense to me he is my shelter, my safe harbor. When self doubt and self loathing creep into my soul he is my champion, my number one fan. He has bolstered my spirits more times than I can count and he has led me through the darkness back into the light even more times than that. In quiet moments of reflection I feel an overwhelming gratitude that I married this man. This man with his giant, compassionate heart. His laugh so hard I cry sense of humor. His passion and positivity. His talent and drive. His broad chested, sexy " I got this" attitude. His joyful, unconditionally loving parenting style. I don't think there's a person who's met him that doesn't love him and I get to call him mine. He makes me better in every way by loving me and believing in me and for never giving up on me. So here's to 10, 20, 40 more years of us! I love you @joshbkelley more than you can probably imagine and then some! #10thweddinganniversary #We'reStillTogether!

"A few things have changed since then," Katherine, 39, continued. "I quit smoking, thank God! I've put on a few pounds. I don't often do spontaneously weird things like take random bathtub photos in the middle of the night anymore. But what hasn't changed, is that burning desire in me to be with this man."

Katherine, who's since welcomed three kids with Josh — two adopted girls and one biological son — got real about the ups and downs of marriage too.

"I gotta be honest. There have been moments where I didn't think we'd make it. Where I wanted to take my pillow and smother him in the middle of the night. But I'll tell you what. The more time I spend with this guy the more deeply I begin to understand that he is the best of me," she added.

She went on to praise him at length, also sharing, among other things, "In quiet moments of reflection I feel an overwhelming gratitude that I married this man. This man with his giant, compassionate heart. His laugh so hard I cry sense of humor. His passion and positivity. His talent and drive. His broad chested, sexy 'I got this' attitude. His joyful, unconditionally loving parenting style."

"He makes me better in every way by loving me and believing in me and for never giving up on me," she concluded. "So here's to 10, 20, 40 more years of us! I love you @joshbkelley more than you can probably imagine and then some! #10thweddinganniversary #We'reStillTogether!"

Katherine and Josh met filming his 2005 "Only You" music video, in which she starred.

Two years later on Dec. 23, 2007, they exchanged vows in a tent at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah, while it snowed outside, then partied with celebrity pals including her "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars T.R. Knight, Sandra Oh and Kate Walsh.

Congrats, guys!

Chrissy Teigen heads into 'horse world' for therapeutic reasons

In the wake of her recent pregnancy loss, Chrissy Teigen is taking the advice of her therapist and giving "horse world" a try.

Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

On Saturday, Jan. 16, the cookbook author and mother of two shared a photo of a gorgeous brown horse with a white nose relaxing in a stall.

"My therapist says I need something that I do for just me, as I have absolutely nothing currently lol," she tweeted. "Today begins my journey into the horse world. I hope this dude likes me … he's so handsome and appears lazy, I love."

Asked what is name is, Chrissy replied in the comments, "Cosmo!" adding that she hopes his name is a reference to the "Seinfeld" character, Cosmo Kramer, and that she's not Cosmo's owner.

Though she didn't immediately confirm if she was planning to take horseback riding lessons, the fact that her therapist suggested Cosmo made one follower point out she could be starting equine therapy, which can center around riding, or incorporate other kinds of equestrian work or interaction.

Chrissy's foray into "horse world" marks the latest in a series of changes she's made to her life since September, when she and her husband, John Legend, lost their third child, Jack, about halfway through Chrissy's pregnancy, due to complications related to the placenta.

The experience left Chrissy in a deep state of grief, as she later shared in a candid Medium essay.

But she's also told fans she's been able to move forward, thanks to therapy and other support systems.

Back in December, the model revealed she'd given up drinking.

She's also added tattoo tributes to both Jack and John, to her growing — and family-centric — ink collection.

Blue Ivy Carter, 9, takes after her aunt Solange in adorable dance class video

Genes work in mysterious ways!

A video of Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, rocking out in dance class went viral this week after Blue's grandmother, Tina Knowles Lawson, marveled at how much the 9-year-old resembles Bey's younger sister, Solange.

"Thi is Blue but I swear it looks like Solange dancing at this age ❤️," Tina captioned the adorable clip, which shows Blue pumping her arms and stomping her feet as she spins around slowly, checking out what the other girls in her class are up to.

By the end of the short video, a few of Blue's classmates start trying out moves that match hers as they watch her dance.

According to JustJared, the clip went viral as commenters compared notes on Blue's dance floor similarities to her famous mom, 39, and aunt, 34.

For some, like activist, author and teacher Rachel Cargle, Blue's Beyonce DNA was clearly centerstage.

"The way she looked around to VERIFY that no one was on her level," Rachel commented, "… then went back to work. … BABYYYYY! This is Beys child!"

Another user joked, "Blue said 'hold my Juicebox real quick '😂😂😂."

Granted, not a lot of kids are on her level when it comes to music and performance.

Blue was just 8 when she won an NAACP Image Award for outstanding duo, group or collaboration for her contribution to Beyonce's "Brown Skin Girl" and a Soul Train Award for video of the year for the song's video.

Last month, she was added to the list of Grammy nominees for Best Music Video for "Brown Skin Girl," an honor she shares with her mom and Beyonce's collaborators, SaintJhn and WizKid.

Dr. Dre released from hospital after brain aneurysm

After nearly two weeks in the hospital, Dr. Dre has been discharged and is headed home.

On Jan. 15, the hip-hop mogul was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, but TMZ reported that doctors are still monitoring him very closely, as he still needs constant attention.

James Gourley/REX/Shutterstock

"There are medical professionals at his home who will monitor him 24/7 for the next few weeks to make sure he's okay," the webloid said.

Dre was rushed to the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm on Jan. 4 — all but two days of his hospitalization were spent in the intensive care unit.

Despite his release, doctors still don't know what caused his brain bleed. Still, there is hope that the worst is over, and sources told TMZ earlier in the week that a "bad outcome" isn't expected, but doctors have told Dre's family to stay cautiously optimistic.

It's not publicly known whether Dre had surgery, but it seems likely.

Of course, brain aneurysms are very serious and result in death about half of the time. The majority of those who survive a brain aneurysm suffer permanent neurological damage.

After news of hospitalization made headlines, the rapper posted an encouraging message on Instagram.

"Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I'm doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team," he wrote on Jan. 5. "I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!"

Blake Shelton plans to lose 10 pounds before wedding

Blake Shelton is looking to slim down before his wedding ceremony.

While speaking to his pal Luke Bryan on an episode of Party Barn Radio, the "Minimum Wage" artists said he's determined to get in better shape before tying the knot with fiancée Gwen Stefani. In fact, he's looking for double-digit weight loss.

"I feel like if I say 10, I have to do it. So, 10. It's out there now, I can't let people down," he said. "I've readjusted all the mirrors in the house. So they look like you when you're taking a selfie from up above, because you can't even stand and look at myself in the mirror."

"So I've rearranged them or they're kind of angled down, looking down at me," he added. "So I'm looking up and it's not so bad."

It's not known when Blake and Gwen will eventually get hitched, but she's indicated that she doesn't want to get married during a pandemic

"It's like, Blake, why couldn't you have done it before," she mused to Jimmy Fallon earlier this month. "Now we can't have a wedding with the pandemic. It's like sitting around going, OK, drag it out more!"

During that same conversation, the "Hollaback Girl" singer spoke to Jimmy about the moment that her country singer beau finally popped the question after five years together

"Wasn't expecting it at the moment that it happened, at all," she said on "The Tonight Show" on Jan. 5. "Didn't have any idea, nobody knew. I think he had told my dad on my birthday about two weeks earlier, and I gotta tell you, I was sorta like, What's happening with us?"

She began to doubt that Blake would ever pop the question.

"It was kind of in my mind like, We've been together a long time now. What's going on? I was in that place in my head," she said.

Before the proposal, reports claim, Blake got the approval from Gwen's sons Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 6, whom she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

Music is coming!

Adele's friend hints that new music is coming within weeks

We might be less than a month away from new music from Adele.

It's been over five years since Adele dropped "25," but the wait will be over soon, according to one of her friends.

Will Heath/NBC

In a chat with Grazia UK, comic Alan Carr said he's heard some of the unreleased music, and "it's amazing."

Adele's name was brought up when the "RuPaul's Drag Race" host was asked who of the following women would drop music in February: Adele, Cardi B or Rihanna.

"Adele, isn't it? I've actually heard some tracks on it," he said. "Oh my God, it's amazing — so amazing."

It's believed that Adele's album is finished, and it's been unofficially dubbed "32," as that's the age she was when it was recorded. Previous Adele albums have all been named after her age during recording.

Upon hearing the new songs, Alan recalled telling Adele, "That voice is like an old friend."

He continued, "There are some people in the charts who sound a bit like Adele and then when you hear Adele's voice, you go, 'Oh no, there's only one.'"

WireImage

In referring to Adele's massive weight loss, Alan was asked if the songstress' voice had "gone skinny."

"No, no, no," he said. "She's still got a chunky but funky voice — don't worry."

Adele, for the record, has stayed mum on her plans to release music. Many wondered if she might tease a new song during her hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live" last year, but that didn't happen. Likewise, she hasn't posted on Instagram since that appearance.

"Look after each other and go easy on yourselves," she wrote on social media after thanking the cast and crew of the NBC show. "I'm going back to my cave now to be the (single) cat lady that I am! Peace out til next year."

Mario Lopez dishes on chat with Dustin Diamond after cancer diagnosis

On Jan. 14, Dustin Diamond's reps confirmed that the former "Saved By The Bell" star has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy. A few hours later, one of Dustin's "Bayside High" classmates reveled that he reached to the ailing actor.

"I connected with Dustin earlier this evening and although the news of his diagnosis is heartbreaking, we remain positive that he'll overcome this," Mario Lopez tweeted alongside two pictures from the nostalgic show. "Praying for him & his family and for a speedy recovery. God Bless."

On Jan. 11, multiple reports revealed that Dustin had been hospitalized after feeling uneasy and experiencing pain all over his body. He also discovered a lump in his throat. Dustin's medical team felt it was "likely" cancer, and on Jan. 14, TMZ reported that those fears were confirmed. Dustin, the webloid explained, has stage 4 cancer and is also experiencing pain from shingles.

His rep later confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Dustin, who famously played Screech, had already started chemotherapy.

"It's serious, but we don't know how serious yet," Dustin's rep told EW. "He's at an undisclosed hospital in Florida and will probably go home after treatments. We just want him to get well soon."

Jonathan Hordle/Shutterstock

Dustin's health issues come amid the recent revival of the sitcom on Peacock. Several of Dustin's former castmates star in the new show, but the actor who played Screech wasn't offered a gig, perhaps given his fallout with the majority of the cast over the years.

In 2009, he released a book titled "Behind the Bell" that painted a dark picture of the show, alleging drug use and backstabbing. Most of the cast spoke out against the book, calling it fiction. In 2014, Lifetime released a movie largely based on the book: "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story."

Dustin eventually said he didn't write the book and apologized for it.

There is buzz that Dustin might make an appearance on the revival. "They've been talking, so we're keeping our fingers crossed," his reps said.

Remembrance

Celine Dion honors late husband on 5th anniversary of his death

Celine Dion is paying tribute to her late husband, René Angelil, on the fifth anniversary of his death.

On Jan. 14, the singer posted a photo to Instagram of her and René holding hands on the beach.

"René, it's been 5 years already… There's not one day that we don't think about you," she sweetly captioned the image. "We're reaching out to you now more than ever, to guide us, protect us, and continue to watch over us. And we pray that you'll shine your love on the entire world, to all those at this very moment, who are facing incredibly difficult times."

She added, "You are in our hearts and in our lives forever. We love you, Celine, René-Charles, Nelson and Eddy xx…"

Celine often speaks about her late husband, who passed away in 2016 after a long battle with throat cancer.

Celine often keeps René's spirit alive in Instagram tributes to her kids. She took the opportunity to reference René last October when their twin sons, Nelson and Eddy, celebrated their 10th birthdays.

"Nelson and Eddy, you have been bringing so much joy, love and laughter into our lives every single day for the past 10 years," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "You make me, your big brother and your Dad, who is for sure watching over you, so very proud. Happy birthday my beautiful boys! We love you so very much… – Mom, RC and Dad xx…"

She did the same when René-Charles' turned 19 years old in January 2020.

"I want you to know that your father's guidance continues to support and protect you… as I do," she wrote on Instagram last year. "Keep being the best of yourself… strong, passionate, and wise, as you pursue all of your dreams in life – the sky's the limit!"

Name game

Anne Hathaway isn't a fan of her first name, says it 'doesn't fit'

Anne Hathaway wants to play the name game.

During a chat with Jimmy Fallon this week, the actress bemoaned the fact that people call her "Anne," despite that being her birth name. She's hoping that people can learn to call her "Annie."

Jason Merritt/Radarpics/Shutterstock

"When I was 14 years old, I did a commercial, and I had to get my SAG card and they asked me, 'Well, what do you want your name to be?'" she began. "And I was like, 'Well, it should be my name. My name's Anne Hathaway.' So that seemed like the right choice, but it never occurred to me that for the rest of my life, people will call me Anne."

For the most part, she says only fans and movie posters call her "Anne."

"The only person who ever calls me Anne is my mother, and she only does it when she's really mad at me," the "Locked Down" star continued. "Like, really mad."

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

Anne, er Annie, said she always thinks she's in trouble when people call out her birth name.

"Every time I step out in public and someone calls my name I think they're going to yell at me," she said. "People are like, 'Anne!' And I'm like 'What? What did I do?!'"

Her co-workers even have "workarounds" when they address her because "the truth is nobody's comfortable with" calling her Anne.

"It doesn't fit," she said. "I'm an Annie. People call me H, people call me Hath, so feel free, call me anything but Anne."

Upbringing details

Elizabeth Olsen dishes on growing up in the shadow of famous twin sisters

Growing up as the younger sister of two global superstars, Elizabeth Olsen admits that her unbringing wasn't "average."

"It's definitely not a lot of people's average childhood, but I don't know if any of us look back at our childhoods and think of any of them as average," she said of her experience as the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Erik Pendzich/Shutterstock

"I guess it was unique to me and my sisters' experience," she told United Kingdom host Lorraine Kelly.

Mary-Kate and Ashley became known worldwide for starring in "Full House." They quickly began their own brand, as they released movies, clothing and merchandise. They were two of the richest women in the world as teenagers.

Elizabeth followed her sister's footsteps into acting, and carved her own path. She's now a part of the Marvel universe, including Disney+'s new series "WandaVision."

"We have these characters, they are these super heroes that are just trying to fit in the suburbs, but things aren't what they seem and it will be revealed in every episode," she said.

AFF-USA/Shutterstock

She's also about to start filming the "Doctor Strange" franchise in London.

"We love it here, we're so happy here, we love walking in the rain and bundling up. It's so nice to quarantine everywhere else, even if it's inside our home," she said of her United Kingdom pad. "Every opportunity I have to come here, I seize it. Even if I'm in Europe, I figure out how to swing to London. It's my home from home."

Elizabeth's interview comes as her sister Mary-Kate finalizes her nasty divorce from Olivier Sarkozy.
