Khloe Kardashian is opening up about her struggle to welcome a second child.
While chatting with Sarah Hyland on the "Ellen" original digital series "Lady Parts," Khloe said she wants to expand her family with boyfriend Tristan Thompson and has gone through IVF "three different times."

"I froze my eggs once already and when I was ready to make embryos with Tristan, I was making embryos," she said, adding that unfortunately "none of them survived" after the eggs were defrosted.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, who shares 2-year-old daughter True Thompson with Tristan, said her eggs simply aren't strong enough to withstand the freezing temperatures.
"They should be mixed immediately with sperm to make embryos. So I actually have made embryos," she said.
Khloe has long been determined to give True a sibling, as she's often spoken about it on her family's soon-to-be-ending reality TV show. In a trailer for the upcoming season, Khloe and Tristan even speak about surrogacy.
"I definitely do want more kids. I have so many brothers and sisters," Khloe told Sarah. "I think it's such a blessing—especially during these times—to have a family member or people that you can play with and rely on and just have a buddy through life."
Under normal circumstances, Khloe would either be pregnant right now or have a newborn. However, her plans were put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"With COVID, finding this whole fertility process, if you do need assistance in fertility, it's much more challenging during COVID," she said. "They say, 'If you wanna make God laugh, tell him your plans.' So the one time I'm actually really trying to plan, God is saying, 'Uh uh, you can't make your plans like this.'"
