Kyle Richards was a child actress, but she's reinvented herself as a reality TV star. She's determined to keep her children from following in her footsteps when it comes to the latter.

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star spoke to Australia's TV Week about her children's TV aspirations… Most notably, she hopes they have none.
Kyle said she "would strongly advise against" Farrah, 31, Alexia, 23, Sophia, 20, and Portia, 12, turning the cameras onto themselves.
"I wouldn't let them," Kyle said. "Two of my girls are in real estate. They're businesswomen, and I like that they're on that path."
Although Kyle has been a main "Housewives" cast member for 10 years, she can't imagine doing another 10 seasons.
"Absolutely not. I wouldn't survive!" she said.
Having been with the show since it debuted, she's seen a lot of fellow "Housewives" come and go — including her sister, Kim Richards. Last year saw Denise Richards join the Bravo staple. During a recent interview on Sirius XM's "The Jess Cagle Show," Denise reflected on her first season on the hit reality show.

"I want to be myself, because some people do know of me and I didn't want to play a character, otherwise let's call it scripted," she said. "So I just wanted to be myself on the show, and you know, whatever happens happens, and just react how I really would."
"My first season I had a great time getting to know all the women," she said. "And it was fun to be able to — you know, we get to go to fabulous restaurants and trips, and I had fun with them, and I genuinely formed some great friendships."
