Kylie Jenner is vehemently denying posting an Instagram caption with racial overtones.
On Aug. 16, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star posted a series of images that showed her in a black and white bodysuit. Kylie says she initially captioned the slideshow with a heart and a star emoji, but she quickly edited it and added the words "brown eyed girl." However, she alleges that someone on the Internet altered the caption to make it look like Kylie wrote "brown skinned girl."
The picture and the racial caption soon started making the rounds online.
On Aug. 17, Kylie used her Instagram Story to deny ever writing the caption. She had some pretty compelling evidence: She posted a side-by-side image of her photo with the altered photo.
"I never said this," the makeup mogul adamantly wrote.

Many fans claim they momentarily saw the "brown skinned girl" caption and insist she quickly edited it. Kylie, though, shared comments from fans that back her up.
"I saw the photo as soon as it was posted and it said 'brown eyed' why do people need to make drama out of everything and invent lies," one comment read.
On Instagram, it's possible to change and edit captions. On Twitter, there is no editing option.
