Fans are ripping Kylie Jenner and insisting she's no friend of the environment after opting for a 17-minute private jet ride, not a car, to take her across town.

According to the @CelebJets Twitter account, the reality TV star flew 40 miles from Camarillo, Calif., to Van Nuys, Calif., last week. In a car, the drive would have taken about 45 minutes.
Initial reports claimed the flight took three minutes, but it was later clarified and changed to a 17 minutes of air time.
Just days after the blink-and-you-missed-it-flight, Kylie posted a black-and-white Instagram image with beau Travis Scott in front of their private jets.
"you wanna take mine or yours?," she captioned the snap. While her family and friends loved on the image, many fans were not impressed.
"Global warming who?," one Instagram user wrote. Another person tweeted, "Kylie Jenner: full time climate criminal."
"Can't wait to see Kylie Jenner post environmental awareness pics on her stories as if she isn't single-handedly doing more damage to the environment than most of us with her 3 min flights," another social media user said.
The pile-on continued.
"your waste of gas emissions or mine?" another said. A different critic claimed, "This isnt the flex you think it is."
This is hardly the first time Kylie has come under fire for her private jet usage. Back in 2019 she was mocked for picking up sister Kendall Jenner for dinner in her jet. In addition, there has long been suspicion that the makeup maven often flies 100 miles from Los Angeles to Palm Springs, a drive that takes under two hours.
