Nikki Bella revealed that her ex John Cena reached out to her after she and fiancé Artem Chigvintsev welcomed their baby, Matteo, over the summer.
"John and I will be tied forever. I get that, like, we had a public relationship on a reality show for six years," she told Us Weekly.
While Nikki is a mother and a fiancé, John has moved on, too, as he married Shay Shariatzadeh in October.
"All I've ever wanted was for him to be happy," Nikki said. "So, it makes me happy when makes me happy when I see that and, like, him kicking butt in the movie world and all that stuff. I love that!"
John, the "Total Bellas" star said, has a good heart.
"So with the baby, he reached out to Brie and I both," Nikki said, referring to her twin sister who had a baby on Aug. 1. "We haven't had an individual conversation in gosh, I don't know how long, but it was very short and sweet!"
Nikki and John dated for six years and got engaged inside the ring at Wrestlemania in 2017. They split in 2018.
Kids were always an issue for the pair. John famously never wanted children, whereas Nikki did. He did however offer to have his vasectomy reversed for her.
