According to a source, Sarah Ferguson wants to live at
Prince William and
Kate Middleton's current home, Adelaide Cottage, after the Prince and Princess of Wales relocate to their new home, Forest Lodge. Prince Andrew, meanwhile, has expressed interest in Frogmore Cottage, where
Prince Harry and
Meghan Markle previously lived. "It's incredible that they are willing to go their own separate ways," the insider told
The Sun of the former Duke and Duchess of York. "But it indicates that they have been under immense strain this year and need a break from one another. It's a fresh start for both."

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, who divorced in 1996, have lived together at Royal Lodge since 2008. They reportedly agreed to move from the historic mansion — where they've been living rent-free — into two smaller royal residences. "No one is really sure how it's going to go down at the palace yet," The Sun's source said. "Andrew is willing to leave, but these are his demands."

According to the source, "Frogmore Cottage is too small for both" Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, but "Adelaide Cottage is around the corner so they will see each other whenever they want."

Prince Andrew relinquished his title as the Duke of York over his connection to Jeffrey Epstein. "In discussion with King Charles III and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the royal family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life," he said in a statement. "With His Majesty's agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honors which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me."

Sarah Ferguson was dropped from numerous charities and her royal title was revoked due to her ties to Jeffrey Epstein. "The duchess spoke of her regret about her association with Epstein many years ago and as they have always been, her first thoughts are with his victims," the former Duchess of York's spokesperson said. "Like many people, she was taken in by his lies. As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with [abusing children]."
