Ever since Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his royal titles and evicted from Royal Lodge due to his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and sexual assault accusations, his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, have tried to keep their distance — at least in the public eye. However, that recently appeared to change when Princess Beatrice was spotted horseback riding with her father.

Princess Beatrice's decision to spend time with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on horseback in Windsor was seen as a risky move.A commentator told Newsweek that the royal took "a reputational risk by associating with her father."
The Sun even published photos of Beatrice bringing her 4-year-old daughter, Sienna, along for the horseback outing with her grandfather.

The trip highlights that Princess Beatrice remains close to her father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, while her sister, Princess Eugenie, continues to keep her distance.Afua Hagan, a United Kingdom-based royal commentator, told Newsweek: "I do think there is a reputational risk, absolutely, for either of them to be associating themselves with Andrew, especially publicly."
"Beatrice and Andrew were probably horse riding privately in a private estate, but she was photographed, and that's not great," Hagan told Newsweek. "I'm sure she feels that, of course, she has some loyalty towards him; he is her father after all."

While Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie face a tricky tightrope in balancing their relationships with their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson — who are both banned from royal events — and with King Charles, the monarchy remains very important to them. The sisters even spent Christmas with the royal family and not with their parents. "They live and die by the monarchy, so this didn't surprise me at all. Andrew and Sarah would have 1,000 percent supported it," a source told People.
