Prince Harry is set to return to the U.K. for the 2027 Invictus Games, but it's unlikely that his time in the region will lead to reconciling with his estranged brother,
Prince William.
According to an insider, William is "flat-out refusing to be in the same room as Harry when he does come back," and "if he had to leave town to avoid him, he says he will."

King Charles III may attend the Invictus Games, William isn't expected to make an appearance.
The source told
National Examiner that William "is absolutely seething over this," and "He can't believe his dad is falling for the bait."

"Officially, Team Wales is toeing the line because they have no choice — it's the will of the King, but privately, there's a lot of resentment," the insider continued. "It's obviously very unorthodox for him to be going against his father in any way, even behind the scenes, but William insists he has no choice."

Due to the Sussexes' projects, the insider claimed William sees them as a "real threat to the monarchy," and the future king is "taking steps to protect himself" and the Crown.

Prince Harry of his Duke of Sussex title, but
Prince William's reign could impact his brother's public life.
"William is very clear that things will be handled differently when he's in charge," the source said. "That's why he's gone and hired a new crisis PR team to help him get ahead of anything that happens with Harry and Meghan going forward."
