According to royal expert
Duncan Larcombe,
Princess Eugenie is reportedly keeping her distance from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after he was banished from The Firm. "Maybe it's just a temporary measure, and when things die down, she can quietly maintain a relationship," he told
The Mirror. "But at the moment, that's going to be one of the most bitter blows Andrew has had to face and he's faced a lot."

Princess Eugenie founded the Anti-Slavery Collective in 2017 and has done extensive work to prevent human trafficking. "I think it's partly because she's involved with a few modern-day slavery charities and organizations," Duncan Larcombe said. "So, she might feel she has to distance herself publicly from her father because of the nature of what is being said."

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson's involvement with Jeffrey Epstein has deeply fractured their relationships with Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice. "It's sad because, in many ways, Beatrice and Eugenie are two more victims of Jeffrey Epstein," Duncan Larcombe said. "They have done nothing wrong and yet they have been forced to sit and watch as their parents are torn to pieces by their own behaviors."

According to an insider, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is respecting Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice's desire to stay out of the drama. "Andrew's main concern is that his daughters are not tainted by his difficulties, so he is keeping his distance from them," a source told
Daily Mail.

Last year, both Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson were stripped of their titles and evicted from Royal Lodge. "The Yorks are an extremely close-knit family. The disgrace of Sarah Ferguson has followed that of Andrew, who has become an international pariah," royal expert
Richard Fitzwilliams told
Daily Express. "Princess Beatrice and
Princess Eugenie will find their parents'
predicament devastating."
