Patricia Arquette has made a scary revelation about her dating history.
This week, a question was posed to Twitter that urged social media users to detail their "most awkward" date. The Emmy-winning actress had a doozy of a story to tell from many years ago… and thankfully she's alive to tell it.
"Second date. Pro skateboarder. Really cute. Friends with my friends," she tweeted. "We made out but something about how he kissed me freaked me out. I gave him a fake number. Years later he killed his girlfriend."
Fans immediately wanted to know more. After multiple person guessed that she was speaking about Mark "Gator" Rogowski, Patricia confirmed that that's who she was referring to. However, she clarified that the victim, Jessica Bergsten, was the best friend of Gator's ex-girlfriend, Brandi McClain.
"Yes right. He raped and killed," Patricia said on April 14.
Gator, who was a popular skateboarding figure in the 1980s and appeared as a stunt double in 1989's "Gleaming the Cube," confessed to the crime.
Fans continued to be fascinated by Patricia's reveal, with one asking how an admitted killer kisses.
"It felt aggressive. Like pushing me back hard with his jaw and it felt like it was angry," the actress replied. She also added, "And my daughter thinks I'm overprotective."
In 1991, Gator was convicted of the rape and murder of Jessica Bergsten and was given a prison sentence of 31 years to life.
Although Patricia never said when her two dates occurred, she tweeted, "Moral to the story- Trust your instincts."
