"Pawn Stars" figurehead Rick Harrison and his wife quietly split last year, and there are suggestions that differing views on social justice, COVID-19 and maybe even politics was their downfall.
The reality TV star filed for divorce from wife Deanna Burditt on July 1, 2020, but the split went largely unnoticed at the time.
In the filing, according to TMZ, Rick said there was no hope for a reconciliation, as their "tastes, mental dispositions, views, likes, and dislikes have become so divergent that they have become incompatible in marriage."
At the time of the filing, the George Floyd protests had just happened, the country was in the grips of the coronavirus pandemic and the 2020 Presidential race was in full swing. Rick is an unabashed supporter of former president Donald Trump, as he's openly campaigned for him and attended rallies. Whether Deanna shared similar political views isn't known, but she and Rick did hold a fundraiser at their home for Marco Rubio when the Florida Senator was a Presidential candidate in 2015, coincidentally running against Trump.
In Deanna's response, she initially asked for alimony, but the exes reached a settlement agreement last fall.
The duo, who were married for seven years, had no children together.
Rick told TMZ that the marriage "didn't work out and [the divorce] was a mutual decision."
