Kelly Dodd got torched on social media after comparing "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Emily Simpson to Fiona from "Shrek."
On Wednesday, April 20, the former "Housewives" star decided to share side-by-side images of Emily and the animated character, both of whom donned floor-length gowns in a green hue.
"Who rocked it better ?? #rhoc," Kelly wrote, according to a screengrab of the post.
Fans, even those who normally support Kelly, weren't feeling it and encouraged her to delete the post.
"Oh gosh Kelly….I don't like Emily AT ALL, but this is not kind!" one fan commented. Another wrote, "Please don't be like this. I really want to like you but…."
Kelly was called "petty" and "distasteful" and told that the comparison was "not ok."
A fan even asked Kelly why she would post such a negative thing, to which the ex-Bravolebrity replied without a hint of irony, "because she's a bully."
The post only stayed up for 10 minutes before Kelly took it down, but Page Six grabbed screenshot of the images and the responses from her followers.
Since being fired from "The Real Housewives of Orange County" last year, Kelly has often lashed out at both the current cast of the show and her former co-stars. After her axing, she blamed Braunwyn Windham-Burke. "This was your fault," Kelly text Braunwyn, even sharing the conversation on Instagram. "We'd still be on the show if you didn't make things so dark and ugly and brought all that political 'woke' BS.'"
Kelly has also called "Housewives" star Gina Kirschenheiter a "charity case" and "fake fake fake." After being asked about the comments last month, Gina expressed pity for Kelly, prompting the former reality TV star to tweet, "@GKirschenheiter don't feel sorry for me!! I feel sorry for your 6 kids being packed into 2 bdrms!!"
