Tamron Hall is being sued by a former guest on her talk show for $16 million for alleged religious discrimination.

Last year, a woman named Jeanine DiAngelo appeared on Tamron's eponymous talk show to discuss her decision to not vaccinate her son. During the episode, Jeanine said Tamron compared her son to a "leper" and wouldn't let her own young son near the unvaccinated boy.
In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Jeanine says Tamron violated state law by discriminating against her and her son for their religious beliefs. The woman is filing the lawsuit on behalf of herself and her son.
Jeanine further alleged that Tamron embarrassed her and her son on national television and claims the host wasn't prepared for the interview and didn't have knowledge on the topic. She stated that her son suffered "colossal emotional distress," TMZ said.

On the episode, the conversation largely centered on Jeanine's decision to remove her son from public school after New York, where Jeanine lives and where the talk show is taped, repealed religious exceptions for vaccinations.
"There is no science that proves that vaccines are safe and effective," Jeanine claimed, promoting Tamron to quickly inject and tell her, "That is simply not true."
"I'm so sorry, Jeanine," Tamron continued, "but that is simply, absolutely false on its face."
Jeanine named Tamron, Disney and the production company in the lawsuit.
