Wolfgang Van Halen is remembering his late father, Eddie Van Halen, on an important date.
On Jan. 26, the 30-year-old shared a throwback image with Eddie to mark what would have been his dad's 67th birthday.
"Happy Birthday, Pop. I love and miss you more than you could ever know," Wolf captioned the snap that shows him and his father sitting on a staircase together.
According to a date on the photo, the image was taken in 1995 when Wolf was 4 years old.
The Van Halen guitarist died in October 2020 after a lengthy fight with cancer. Wolf tearfully announced the death on social media.
"I can't believe I'm having to write this, but my father, Edward Lodewijk Van Halen, has lost his long and arduous battle with cancer this morning,'' he wrote at the time. "He was the best father I could ever ask for. I love you so much, Pop."

Just two months after the death, Wolf spoke to Howard Stern about his grief.
"I'm awful. It's terrible. Every day, man. Some days are better than others. The pain is still there always, but you just kind of figure out how to carry it a little better as time goes on. But it's always gonna hurt," he said.
"We had such a close connection and now, for the rest of my life, there's no way I'll never be able to think about him no matter what I do — which is good but also hurts a lot," he said.
