Lynda Carter's daughter is turning into quite the (wonder) woman.
The 68-year-old actress, who's known for playing the iconic superhero Wonder Woman, took to Instagram this week to share an image with her 29-year-old lookalike daughter, Jessica Carter Altman.
"Best part of this summer: all this extra time with my baby girl!" Lynda captioned the image of herself and her daughter at the bottom of a staircase — presumably at their mansion in Potomac, Maryland.
In the snap, Lynda wraps her arms around her mini-me daughter, who dons a floral dress.
The two women are incredibly close. In fact, Lynda, who is also a singer, was set to tour with Jessica this year until the coronavirus pandemic struck, halting mass gatherings. Like her mom, Jessica is multitalented, as she's both a singer and a lawyer, although she's currently focusing on music full time.
"I always have to remind myself that my baby girl is hardly a baby anymore!" Lynda captioned a snap with Jessica in mid-March while announcing the postponement of their tour.
Jessica posted the same image and message to Instagram.
Lynda often appears on Jessica's social media.
On Mother's Day, Jessica posted a throwback of her mom from the '90s.
"The most remarkable woman I know – Happy Mother's Day," she wrote in the caption.
While Jessica is not as famous as her mother, she is carving her own path. Still, she knows that some will always think of her as Lynda Carter's daughter — and she's completely comfortable with that.
"My mom inspires me daily," she told Forbes in a recent interview.
It seems that there wasn't a time when Jessica's mother wasn't influencing her — she pretended to be Wonder Woman when she was a little kid, she said.
"I put on the Wonder Woman crown, bracelets and Lasso of Truth," Jessica said, "and started running around the house pretending to be a superhero."
