Brian Dunkleman is in the middle of an absolutely nuclear custody battle with his wife.
The viscousness is so intense and accusations are flying from one or the other that allege alcohol abuse, violence, child stealing and even involvement with a drug cartel.
TMZ acquired court documents that details the fireworks.
In the court papers, the former "American Idol" host says his wife, Kalea, is an out-of-control alcoholic and claims she poses a danger to himself and their 3-year-old son, Jackson. He details one incident in which he alleges that she drunkenly punched him in the face.
He now says that she involved with a cartel drug dealer that she met in rehab.
Brian, who married Kalea in 2007, admits that he whisked their son off to New York with with him last month because he was fearful. In the Big Apple, he went to court and got an order giving him temporary physical custody, pending a hearing.
Kelea, though, has some things to say about Brian, too, and it's far from flattering.
In the explosive court documents, she says that Brian is the abuser in the relationship, not her.
She also detailed an alleged incident where she says he picked her up and thrown her against a wall in front of their son and has verbally abused her. She said he relentlessly hurled vicious insults at her.
She claimed that he's so abusive, both physically and emotionally, that he once locked her out of their home and made her pee outside. He "smirked" at her, the celebrity website said.
As for his claims that she's an alcoholic, she admits that she's had problems in the past, but related a lot of her struggles to her former job as a publicist to high profile chefs. She now says she no longer suffers from alcohol abuse.
Kalea is asking a judge to order Brian to immediately return their son to California.
