Britney Spears may be one of the biggest stars in the world, but if you think that garners her much respect in her own home, well, think again.
While speaking to Sunrise Australia on Wednesday, the pop princess said she's far from popular with her oldest son, Sean Preston, 11.
"My oldest is 11 now, so he's to the point now where he's almost a teenager, in two years, he'll be in his teens and he's like 'Mom's not cool.' I know nothing, I'm an idiot. And the bad part is you start believing them and you're like, 'Wait a second, what did he just say?''
She also the mother to 10-year-old son Jayden James.
When the host joked with her that it didn't matter that she was a huge pop star, she's said, "Of course, of course."
The busy mom certainly knows that her son's lackluster attitude comes with his age. What's interesting is she's has a similar lackluster attitude when it comes to dating.
While making an appearance on "The Jonathan Ross Show" in the UK, the 34-year-old made it clear that dating is more of a hassle than anything else at this point in her life.
"A lot of men are about games," she said. "It's just the mind game with guys, the calling back and texting, it's just too much, it's silly. Actually, I'm not looking for men right now, I'm really happy with myself. I'm not looking for anything, I'm fine with the way I am."
As far as what Britney Spears is looking for out of a man, it's much less complicated than you might think.
"I like someone that's just nice overall, just a nice guy really is groundbreaking in this world," she said.
If that doesn't happen, she won't be crying.
"My twenties were horrible!," the singer told the British show "Lorraine" on Sept. 29. "[Being] in my teens was fun, but I like my thirties. … You know who you really are."
Who is she? She's a pop princess to most, but she's not cool to one 11-year-old boy.
