With Mother's Day coming this weekend, Britney Spears is taking a minute to ponder what matters most in her life.
The mother of two wrote a heartfelt letter to her sons, Jaden James, 9, and Sean Preston, 10.
"You are my masterpieces. From the day I saw the most precious eyes, I believed in miracles to the core," she wrote in her piece, which was published on Time magazine's website.
"Such a gift God has given me, exploring in your beautiful worlds every day. I pray as a mother I teach you strength and passion to carry through the struggles in the world. Most battles will always be won on your knees. I pray you find your dreams."
She continued, "God always comes to us in tiny whispers. I pray you always find his whisper and understand the true meaning behind following your inner voice as well."
The singer, who will receive The Millennium Award at the 2016 Billboard Awards, added, "Always believe in yourself and know anything is possible. I pray dreaming awakens your soul to limitless possibilities. I hope the most precious mysteries of life stay with you always and you are never ashamed of how bright your light truly is. I hope you learn praying alone is when you are most connected to God, and know you are never alone. He is with you always.
I pray you laugh, love and soar through your journey of life."
The pop star, who is currently in residence in Las Vegas, loves to celebrate her boys on social media. She regularly updates fans on their adventures.
Of course, it isn't all about her children when it comes to Britney's Instagram account. She also likes to show off her ridiculously fit body for the 'gram.
It's great that Britney can find time to have fun, especially as she faces a lawsuit brought against her by her self-proclaimed former manager Sam Lufti. He accuses the singer of owing him millions in earnings due to his '15 percent contract' between 2007 and 2008. He also claims that he was punched by Britney's dad and was helping the superstar get off of drugs.
Britney's family is fighting the charges, claiming Sam was never her manager and actually provided Britney with drugs.
The singer and her lawyers met with Sam in Los Angeles on Monday, May 2, but, according to The Daily Mail, Britney was visibly upset. The paper says she was "forced to sit opposite the man her lawyers claim leave her intimidated and unable to think straight."
