Ciara is legitimately fearful that her ex will kill her fiancé, according to court documents she filed.
The "1,2 Step" singer detailed several of Future's messages that she deemed as real threats to Russell Wilson. In one message, Ciara points out a tweet that her ex posted that shows several football emojis and a gun pointed in that direction.
She claims that there are several times in which threats were made, including apparent references in a song he released last month in which Future raps about "pulling up" on someone, which is street slang for a drive by.
According to TMZ, who has seen the documents, she called the threats "frightening" and "socially irresponsible ... where there has been a recent rash of gun violence."
Ciara and Future share a son together, baby Future.
The court papers were filed and added to her $15 million defamation and slander lawsuit against her ex, in which she says Future is destroying not only her namesake, but also Russell's.
She claims that Future has bashed the engaged couple in multiple interviews and on social media. She alleges that he's dragging their names through the mud to promote his own music.
In the suit, Ciara calls out Future for a radio interview in which he discussed a paparazzi photo of Russell pushing Ciara and Future's son in his stroller. In the interview Future said, "She probably set him up. You letting them catch that photo. Leave my son out of all the publicity stunts."
The suit cited other times in which he used profane language about her, as well.
The songstress wants her ex's nasty tweets deleted and wants a judge to order him to refrain from saying anything about family matters regrading their son in future tweets.
The vitriol between Ciara and Future is so bad that she refused to even say his name while announcing the 2016 Billboard Award nominees in April.
While on "Good Morning America," the brunette beauty was reading the list of nominees in the "Top Rap Artist" category, along with co-host Ludacris. She smiled and said Drake, Fetty Wap, Silento and Wiz Khalifa before she suddenly stopped speaking as rapper Future's face appeared on screen. Ludacris, recognizing the touchy situation, jumped in to save the day.
