At the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Launch party on Feb. 16, Gigi spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her "special someone" and his reaction to the magazine photos.
"He obviously liked the pictures," Gigi shared at the event, where she stunned in a sexy, sheer paneled body suit by Julien Macdonald.
The model makes her third appearance on the pages of the famous Sports Illustrated issue. Her shoot, which was shot by famous photographer and former "America's Next Top Model" regular Yu Tsai, took place in the tropical spot of Tahiti. A chainlink top and skimpy bottoms, and a teeny floral bikini are among her looks featured in the pages of the magazine.
She also opened up about the first person she talked to after seeing her gorgeous spread. "I texted my special someone," Gigi admitted, adding that his name is a "secret."
And though she played coy about naming Zayn on the red carpet, her rumored beau was a little more open about the relationship earlier this month. While calling into the Los Angeles based radio show Zach Sang and the Gang on Feb. 2, Zayn confirmed the dating rumors.
On the topic of his music video "Pillowtalk," one of the radio show's hosts Jill asked the former One Direction member, "Was it cool to have your girlfriend in the video?" Instead of shying away from the question or denying the girlfriend assumption, Zayn confirmed the famous couple's relationship status, saying, "Yeah that was cool. That was something different, and yeah we enjoyed it. It was fun, had a lot of fun on set."
Further confirming the romance, Jill added, "No one easier to make out with than your own girlfriend right?" To which Zayn slyly replied,"Exactly. I like what you've done there."
Aside from spilling on Zayn's reactions to the bikini pics, Gigi also opened up about her famous friend Taylor Swift's big night at the Grammys the night before.
"She's the most hard-working, business-minded, brilliant, kind person. I'm so happy for her. I wish I could have been there but we were all there in spirit," Gigi shared, on her bestie's big win for Album of the Year for "1989."
