Will Ivanka Trump run for President?
A lot of Twitter users felt that the 34-year-old daughter of Republican candidate Donald Trump should run after she introduced her father at the Republican National Convention on July 21.
Ivanka stole the show with her eloquent speech that did not bash Hillary Clinton but instead, focused on her father.
"For more than a year, Donald Trump has been the people's champion," she said. "Real change is only going to come from outside of the system … I have seen him fight for his employees. Now, I am seeing him fight for his country."
#IvankaForPresident was trending on Twitter, and Mia Farrow and Andi Dorfman were among the ones encouraging her to run for office.
This year has been a big year for Ivanka as she recently gave birth to her third child in March with husband Jared Kushner, and she continues to build her business empire.
At the RNC, Ivanka wore her own design, a $138 light pink dress. The dress was a smart promotional business decision, and it made her seem all the more relatable.
And then she posted this Instagram of herself holding baby Theodore while make-up free on July 22.
"So proud of my amazing siblings @donaldjtrumpjr @erictrump & @tiffanytrump. Great work! #RNC #RNCinCLE" she captioned it.
At a time where the focus could really be mostly on her, Ivanka gave a shout out to her siblings. She also defended her father's character.
She spoke to "Good Morning America" earlier in the week and dismissed the idea that her father doesn't value women.
"My father believes in equality amongst the genders economically, politically, socially. That's it ... a lot of people can't say that," she told "Good Morning America" earlier in the week. "They talk about, you know, the ways they all empower women. My father has empowered women, including me, his whole life."
While Ivanka is proud of her father, he's proud of her too.
Great job indeed, Ivanka!
