Jesse Eisenberg is going to be a father.
According to E! News, the "Social Network" star is expecting his first child with longtime girlfriend Anna Strout.
Jesse is very protective of his private life and has not publicly confirmed the news, and it's somewhat likely that he won't address it.
Jesse and Anna dated for 10 years before splitting in 2012. After several years, they reconciled and were photographed together in January at a basketball game. During their break, Jesse dated actress Mia Wasikowska.
In 2011, the "Batman v Superman" star spoke about his lady love with Seventeen in one of the rare times he's publicly talked about her. In the interview he said she was the only girl he'd ever been on a date with, and he also revealed what he loved about her.
"I find people who want to help other people to be the most interesting," he said at the time. "I come from a family of teachers, and my friends are teachers, often times in very difficult school situations. My job is so selfish and focused on my own vanity that I like to surround myself with people who are actually helping people throughout their day."
Anna's mother is the executive director of a domestic violence shelter in Bloomington, Indiana. Shortly after he and Anna split, Jesse worked on a fundraising campaign with the University of Indiana and raised $500,000, which was used to pay off the shelter's mortgage.
"I would say this is a very clear example of using entertainment, or at least using a by-product of entertainment, in this case public notoriety, for something that's more directly related to social justice," Jesse told The Guardian of his influence in raising money for the shelter.
Congrats to the happy couple!
