Donald Trump has always said that he had a deep respect for Queen Elizabeth II and was honored every time he had the chance to visit her in the U.K.
According to a
Daily Express exclusive, a portrait of the queen is now displayed in Mar-a-Lago's grand dining room, where her image stands alone — a notable honor.

In an interview, the publisher of the portrait, which is available for sale
online, revealed that Donald Trump was eager to recognize Queen Elizabeth II in a meaningful and lasting way.
"Trump loved the queen and admired her enormously," the publisher said. "He wanted to honor her properly, which is why he made the decision for her portrait to be the only one displayed in the dining room."

Placing the late queen's piece in the dining room is a grand display, as many high-profile guests are invited there.
"It's a touching gesture," the publisher added. "World leaders are hosted in that very room, so in a sense, Queen Elizabeth II is still meeting heads of state."

Melania Trump visited Queen Elizabeth II on two occasions during his first term as president. The first was a casual tea at Windsor Castle in July 2018, followed by a formal state visit in June 2019, which included a banquet at Buckingham Palace.
But those visits weren't without
controversy. The former reality star has made headlines multiple times for
walking in front of both the late queen and King Charles III on separate occasions. This led to some backlash, even though he did not break any official rules.
