Celeb baby pics have long brought big paydays to their famous parents. And while the tide is starting to shift as stars like Beyonce and Jay Z take more steps to control how and when their families' personal lives get revealed to the public, the big-bucks cover story offers still abound.

This week, TMZ reported that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been offered between $2 and $2.5 million for rights to publish the first photos of their newborn son, Saint.

According to the site, prospective buyers want to run photos, both candid and otherwise, of Saint with his whole immediate family, including his big sister, North. But like Yeezus' friends Jay and Bey, who release photos via their own site and carefully monitor paparazzi access to their daughter, Blue Ivy, Kimye are likely to hold off on sharing pics of their son until they're able to do so in a way that works for them.

After all, the first photo of North first appeared on Kris Jenner's talk show -- and Saint's aunt is slated to premiere a new show called "Kocktails with Khloe" early next year. The show's set reportedly looks like what Deadline calls "a home environment," complete with a kitchen and large table, around which celeb guests and family will gather on each episode for "a dinner party with lively conversation, cooking, party games and … 'kocktails.'" And maybe even baby pics.

Another factor? The figures TMZ has reported aren't that high. Nearly a decade ago, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie set a record for baby pic paydays when they snagged $14 million from People for cover photos of their twins. Being Brangelina, of course, they donated most of it to charity.
