She must have thought she was due for another revealing image.
On March 30, she dug her heels in again and doubled down on her topless body, and she got her pal Emily Ratajkowski to come aboard.
In the newest image, Kim and Emily appear topless (with a thick black bar covering their breasts) in a bathroom mirror. Both of them flip off the camera, which can certainly be seen as a direct response to the people who initially criticized her topless shot in early March, which was posted to Instagram.
In that snap, a blonde-haired Kim appeared solo and fully naked (yet censored) and joked, "When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL."
In the new snap with Emily, Kim said, "When we're like...we both have nothing to wear LOL @emrata."
Emily, too, posted the revealing image.
"We are more than just our bodies, but that doesn't mean we have to be shamed for them or our sexuality. #liberated," the actress captioned the Instagram photo.
Say what you will, but Kim remains defiant about the haters. When she posted her naked selfie the first time around, she saw herself getting involved in Twitter feuds with Bette Midler, Chloe Moretz and Piers Morgan.
However, many others came to her defense, including Sharon Osbourne (who posted a naked selfie of her own,) Bella Thorne, one-time enemy Amber Rose and Ariel Winter, among others.
The word "Liberated" became a rallying cry for Kim's supporters, and Kim posted another naked pic of herself with that word as the caption in the middle of the uproar.
Emily weighed in on the controversy earlier in the month, clearly staying on the side of Team Kim, "Love when a man comments on a woman's decision to post a nude photo. Her body, her career. Sexist b-------. @KimKardashian."
Emily, too, is no stranger to flaunting her enviable body on social media.
At the time, Kim took to her subscribers-only app and website to further elaborate on the naked selfie and chastise the critics.
"I will not live my life dictated by the issues you have with my sexuality. You be you and let me be me," she wrote in her strongly-worded post, adding, "I am a mother. I am a wife, a sister, a daughter, an entrepreneur and I am allowed to be sexy."
Judging from the new image and her previous comments, Kim is clearly not about to apologize for flaunting her famous curves.
