Legendary pop star Mariah Carey has a message for all of the narcissists out there: UR doin' it wrong.
According to Page Six, the "We Belong Together" singer, who is currently on the European leg of her "Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour," invited her closest friends over for a costume party at her spot in Lake Cuomo, Italy. What makes this party really special (and we don't necessarily mean that in a good way) is that all of the guests were asked to dress up like Mariah. Mariah, on the other hand, wasn't required to follow the dress code and instead went as her alter-ego, Bianca.
Let's quickly recap because that was a lot to take in. Here we go: Mariah invited her friends to come to her house while wearing Mariah costumes. Everyone at the event looked like Mariah, except Mariah.
"Even the men dressed like Mariah," an insider told Page Six. "But Mariah went as her alter-ego, Bianca, and sported a jet-black wig."
The bash was (thankfully) filmed for her upcoming E! docu-series and was held at "the fabulous 18th century Villa Napoleon Carey has been using as home base for the past three weeks during her tour," reports Page Six.
The news site says the property normally rents for $12,250 per night, but Air B&B gave the singer complimentary use of the space. It reportedly "sits on the picturesque lake and boasts 8 bedrooms, 11 working fountains, a bell tower, a private dock, pool terrace, indoor gym, home theater and billiards room."
That sounds quaint and all, but we're not sure there's enough room for Mariah and Bianca, especially considering how high maintenance they both must be. And what if Mariah scratches one of her fancy legs on that expensive stone work?
Like Mariah, we only want the best for Mariah.
