Michael Phelps has been keeping a secret for several months -- he's married!

TMZ reported on Oct. 26 that the Olympian and Nicole Johnson secretly tied the knot on June 13 in Paradise Valley, Ariz., where the duo recently moved to.

In other words, the couple was married during the 2016 Olympic Games, although no one knew it.

The nuptials were officiated by Peter Carlisle, Michael's agent and longtime friend, TMZ said, adding that the couple got a marriage license on June 9th and filed the Record of Marriage on June 15th.

Last week, Michael was on Facebook Live wearing a wedding ring but he denied that we was married as fans pestered him.

"You guys can think whatever you want. This is my right hand," he said, flashing his ringed hand that looked to be his left hand. "I don't know what you guys want me to do. I'm right handed."

Fans weren't buying it as he continued to tell them the ring was on his right hand, not the left hand, where wedding rings commonly are worn. "Soon it will be on my left," he said.

It turns out that Nicole actually shared a photo of the two on their wedding day, but didn't reveal that they said I do.
